Students will go outdoors to explore the ecosystem surrounding our school. They will be looking for signs of biodiversity by observing and recording as many different plants and animals as possible.

On Observation 1, students will collect qualitative data by spending a class period taking pictures and writing descriptions of living things they observe in the ecosystem. On Observation 2, students will collect quantitative data about previously observed species.
