The Chatham Green Project is our exciting new community conservation project set on 400 acres of farmland in the heart of Essex.
We are creating a more environmentally friendly farm by planting 12,000 trees, restoring hedgerows, planting 6m wide wildflower strips along the fields, creating a new wildflower meadow and generating clean electricity.
Through citizen science, we need to gather as much information about the plants and animals on our farm as possible. We are excited to see if our improvements lead to greater biodiversity.
We also operate MARISCO Open Standards workshops!
Please post pictures of any plants or wildlife that you see in our project area - particularly anything rare or interesting!
Your data is vital to our project so thank you for helping!
