Grasses grow all around us. Some are native to our area, some are weeds, and some are grown for food. They are one of the most important plant families on Earth to humans and wildlife: grasslands cover more than 20 percent of the vegetation on Earth!

Since grasses are one of the most difficult plant families to identify, this mission is designed to get to know all the different grasses found in the Northeastern U.S.
