Mission Description
Though it's not exactly the first thing most people think of when they think of Manhattan, wildlife abounds on this small island. In the parks, on the streets, and off the shores of the most densely populated borough of New York City, the variety of wildlife surprises most people, especially those who live here.
Let's document all the wild flora and fauna that share this unique island with us.

Limited to the island of Manhattan and the water that surrounds it. Please: no pets, no zoo/aquarium animals, no garden plantings or houseplants. Street trees are OK (welcomed, in fact).
