Field Notes

Description:

Lichen, Moss...I'm really not sure but the orange spots or seed heads (?) in amongst the green really caught my attention

Habitat:

Woodlands surrounded by wetlands, prairie fields, farm fields, lakes and a creek in Glendalough State Park, Minnesota

Notes:

I believe this is green moss possibly reseeding itself...? The little orange balls were peppered everywhere in amongst the green moss but I don't know enough to know if they're part of the same plant or something different altogether.

No, don't delete it. :) You can add it to my global mission for them. http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/43573086
LuckyLogan-Shoot. I don't have a macro lens so got what I could at the time. Should I just delete it then? No big deal...
The orange is a slime mold. I believe the white to be one too, that or a fungus. Closer photographs would be needed.
