Mission for those slimy, but often beautifully colored molds that are often confused with fungi. Now a global mission, welcoming spottings from around the world!
Mission Instructions
There are over 900 species of slime molds which can be found on the forest floor, decaying logs, mulch, leaves, and even on your lawn. A vast majority of these are in the kingdom Amoebozoa, or more specifically the infraphylum Mycetozoa.
