Description:
Foliose lichen. Lobate; medium – 12 to 13 cm diameter - sized, moderately attached, and combining to form an extensive, radiating mat. Lobes, elongate, discrete or contiguous; tips flabellate (fan-shaped), without marginal cilia. Upper surface: green to gray, with some soredia or isidia. Lower surface pale Apothecia absent.
Habitat:
Growing on boulders on east-facing slope above a lake.
