Lichens are the symbiotic union of a fungus with either a green alga or a cyanobacteria. They are very different to fungi. They are always there and we almost never notice. Join this mission to make them to outstand
Mission Instructions
If you see a lichen, take a picture of it and submit your data. Make sure to include a habitat description and applicable notes on nearby tree types, and the type of soil on which it grows, either on bare rock, or on tree leaves, or dead wood, etc.
