Red Banded Polypore

Grows on live and dead coniferous or (less common) deciduous trees. Growing on fallen tree limb that was also supporting 2 or 3 forms of lichen. They were in a County nature Preserve in a primarily pine woodland w/ scrub oak mixed within and exposed to a good amount of sun.
