Yellow flowered woodland plant

Habitat:

*Cornish hedge in shady wooded area of country lanes

Notes:

* a cornish hedge is a particular type of field barrier, constructed with an earth middle & dry stone wall outer, the gaps between the stones are often also filled with earth. Hedgerow bushes & trees grow from the earth & many smaller plants also inhabit the earthy spaces.
