Description:

A bright neon yellow foliose lichen. This particular lichen on this branch was void of the brown eyes (apothecium). They are just underdeveloped.

Habitat:

Spotted on a ponderosa pine branch in a dense pine forest. Can be locally common on lower limbs of pine trees on the East side of the Cascades.
