Description:
‘Colony’ of slightly convex, red-brown, slightly convex, sessile ‘plates;’ approximately 1 mm diameter; spore mass yellow. The plates lift at their edges to release the spores (See pic #2).
Habitat:
Growing on hardwood under bark in a mixed hardwood forest.
