Description:

Lecanora pacifica is a crustose rim lichen that is found on deciduous tree bark. Thallus is thin and grayish white. The apothecia are the circular disc 0.5-1.5 mm in diam. pale yellow to orange brown with a grayish white margin.

Habitat:

Spotted on a dead deciduous tree, probably alder or birch. Found at the Hoh Ox Bow Campground next to the Hoh River. Endemic to western North America.
