Description:

This is a mushroom that has rigid cap with a yellow spot in the middle.The back is also frilled.They like to grow in moist dark conditions in dirt.They were about 2 inches long with a cap of .5-1 inch long.Parasola plicatilis is a small saprotrophic mushroom with a plicate cap (diameter up to 35 mm).

Habitat:

Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.

Notes:

They were multiple caps in one pot all different sizes from 8 mm. to 30 mm. cap.It is a widely distributed species in Europe and North America.
