Description:

Trentepohlia is a genus of filamentous green algae I found on limestones of the ancient Mayan pyramids.

Habitat:

Bonampak in the Lacandon Rainforest.

Nice spotting Luis! Maybe it is not a lichen. I found something similar and after months looking around I found out it was an algae, Trentepohlia sp. Have a look at my spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/181226008
