Description:

large, smooth, flat lichen. green on top, black on bottom (5th pic). Many are brown on top (see pic 6) Pic 4 shows a foilose lichen growing on top of the rock tripe lichen. Very faint mushroomy flavor.

Habitat:

rock. Coweeta in Nantahala NF
