Field Notes

Description:

Any Botanists or Mycologists out there? These lichen were found on the trunk of a tree - a eucalyptus from memory. I haven't the faintest idea of how to classify what appears to be many varieties of lichen.

Habitat:

Tamborine Mountain in SEQ. They are all on the one trunk. Moist climate, well-shaded area. Surrounding area mostly native bushland.

Thanks, Argy. This might be another job for the Queensland Museum. They're going to get so tired of me LOL
The yellow one might be Chrysothrix candelaris http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/10732472 but I think a microscope would be required for proof of these.
