Not a true fungi, but a slime mold.

nice spotting - Australia and it's bright fungi colors...I guess you can't miss these to detect on a walk :)
hi lori tas, would you like to add this red beauty to the slime mold mission ( http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8322190 ), same as clive , i doubt it to be dictydiaethalium. it looks more likely as "red raspberry" slime mold- tubifera ferruginosa
