Description:

It's hard to describe this slime mold except to say that it was exceptionally beautiful and tiny! They looked like yellow goblets with tall afros. The sporangia were stalked, crowded, and had yellow cups on the stalks. The stalks were brown and were less than 1 mm tall. Altogether, they were about 4 mm tall.

Habitat:

Growing on a rotting log in a mixed forest.
