Just did! I have this one that I am unsure about. I thought it was a fungus, but now I'm not so sure. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/398916041
You can add them to my slime molds mission too :) http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/43573086
Well I have moved all my spottings that I suspect are slime molds to "other" :)
Wow! The videos are really amazing too. I've seen videos of them in the wild, but never solving puzzles like that.
I don't believe so. this article is pretty interesting :) http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/the-sublime-slime-mold/
Good to know. So are slime molds actually considered molds anymore?
Slime molds are no longer classified as fungi, but protozoa which is not a category. So "other" is correct.
Orange slime mold. This belongs in the fungi category
