Description:

Foliose Lichen.
Umbilicariaceae are a family of lichenized fungi in the Ascomycota.
They are edible when properly prepared and have been used as a food source in extreme cases when other food sources were unavailable, as by early American northern explorers.

Habitat:

On a granite rock. Pine tree forest. Mountain at 1500 meters high. Parque Nacional Sierra de Guadarrama
