Field Notes

Description:

Cylindrical glossy sporangia ranging in colour from pink to white on stalks. they were minute about 2 to 3 mm tall.

Habitat:

Spotted on a damp charred piece of wood

Notes:

This appears to be one of the stages that the slime mold goes through... I hope the species ID is correct.
