Description:

From wikipedia: 'The common name tutsan appears to be a corruption of toute saine literally meaning all-healthy. This is probably in reference to its healing properties. The leaves were applied to wounds, and as a stomachic' also 'The berries which turn from white/green, to red, to black are poisonous' the wikipedia article also mentions it is an invasive plant and is 'unpalatable' to herbivores. The plant is native in some parts of Britain: http://www.naturespot.org.uk/species/tutsan the leaves are antiseptic: http://herbs-treatandtaste.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/tutsan-original-scent… you can buy 'tutsan tea': http://www.lojadecha.com/gb/herbal/23-tutsan.html it is closely related to st. johns wort which interacts with other drugs and medications, is an aborticant for livestock, so I imagine it would be wise to be cautious with consuming this plant
