Field Notes

Description:

Grayish thallus with pink stalks and ascocarps. Very plentiful at this location. It was the first time I have ever seen Dibaeis baeomyces

Habitat:

At the edges of the Maine Desert growing on clumps of sand and mosses. You can see the chunky dirt clogs these were growing on in the last two photos
