Description:
These gorgeous orange lichens were covering rocks along the Atlantic coast. Colors were variable and included yellow, orange, and greenish yellow. Many had apothecia, but some did not.
Habitat:
Spotted in the "lichen zone" - the area above the high tide line along the rocky shoreline
Notes:
Spotting #1,500!
