Description:

Dictyonema is a symbiosis between a basidiomycete fungi and a scytonematoid cyanobacteria, making it both a basidiolichen and a cyanolichen, a rare combination that makes it more related to mushrooms than to other lichens.

Habitat:

Cerro de la Muerte.
