Hemitrichia sp.

Great. It's interesting to see they've held the orange color up. And you can tell they are shrinking or drying out as well. With slime molds I always wish I had a decent macro. If you look on flickr some of them are mind-blowing.

I think it's possible but the accurate thing might be leaving it as Hemitrichia sp. They change fairly quickly so if you got it a couple of hours later it might look quite different. This one is neat because it has different shades of orange as it develops through the mass. Incredible things - good find.

The stalks become visible when the sporangia have fully matured so it depends what stage you took the shots. You would need to have super macro to see them.
