Slug that lives in the California Coastal Mountain Ranges. I took this picture in Humbolt County Ca, but have seen them in other areas of the California coast.

I've moved this spotting from the Arthropods category to the Other category for you. An arthropod is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton (external skeleton), a segmented body, and jointed appendages. (Wikipedia)
