During Earth Week, help inspire awareness and appreciation for ecosystems across the planet through a global celebration of biodiversity and an opportunity to document nature in your own neighborhood. This mission kicks off April 22 and ends on Friday the 29th. At the end of the week the most popular, most interesting, and most colorful spotting will win the Complete National Geographic DVD Collection with 121 years worth of full issues and a year's subscription to National Geographic magazine.

Join the Earth Week 2011 mission and then head outside and start documenting wildlife. Make sure to select the Earth Week 2011 mission when you submit photos. You can submit as many photos as you like. The mission will end at midnight (Eastern) on Friday, April 29th.
