Field Notes

Description:

Leaves up to 6-8" across, flowers up to 2-3" across. This plant was obtained commercially and came with full documentation! We wanted it for our garden pond to control the Algae build up and protect our wild fish which live there.

Garden pond

Notes:

This plant was first cultivated by Latour-Marliac, France (1880).
Its parentage is a Nymphaea mexicana × unknown.
