Field Notes

Description:

Gray/tan feathers, head is slightly darker. Looks like an orange or red eye, with long thin legs.

Notes:

It was walking along the tidepools looking for food. I'm not much of a bird person, so have at it, birders!

It was relatively close, but my zoom isn't the greatest. Usually I'm taking pictures of insects, so it doesn't matter, but this time it did. It's a reason why I don't have many photos of birds! I've uploaded a cropped version that is zoomed in one the bird. It's still blurry, but it might be a bit better.
