Field Notes

Description:

We knew the nest was occupied and tried to ignore it while removing a dead orange tree and planting a new bush just 3 metres away and (she?) just sat there. When we finished I moved a little and took the first photo. I then moved a bit closer and she? flew off so I got up and walked away past the tree, sticking an arm with camera in and took a snap as I walked past. She? returned a little later. Been there a few days so should hatch in a week or so and fledge a little under two weeks later.

Habitat:

Pear tree
