Field Notes

Description:

This cactus is about 3 feet tall others nearby are taller. Doesn't need daily water. Gets good mileage on the water it gets. Has thorns that look like a bulls horns.

Habitat:

Dryer areas, though we've been getting a lot of water this month. The cactus lives on. Central Plateau in Madagascar. 3800 feet in elevation.

Notes:

Hardy cactus.
