Description:
Slime mold, a member of the Myxomycetes class. 1-2 mm tall. Their spores are produced in aerial sporangia and are spread by wind. The sporangial wall is membranous, with included white lime-granules in more or less dense clusters. The plasmodial cells in an ameboid-like fashion during the search for nutrients.
