Description:

Long-legged birds brown to grey with a red cap on part of their head.

Habitat:

Praries and fields. (must have a little space for landing)

Notes:

They did not want to stand upright for me, too busy preening!

Very nice photos! I see you even had a White Ibis there also.
very pretty. I see these here in MN in the summer. I have had two fly by's but have not seen them on the ground this yr. Very distict call as they fly overhead. One was a group of three, 2nd time was a group of six!
