The eight-spotted flea beetle, is a species of flea beetle in the family Chrysomelidae (leaf beetles)

Habitat:

Seen in the Rain forest - Milpe Eco-lodge in Equador

I agree with Omophoita sp., but it is not Omophoita cyanipennis, which is not found in Ecuador. Omophoita is a tricky genus for getting down to species level.
