Field Notes

Description:

2mm in height , pink ball 1mm and 1mm of white sticky attatchment

Habitat:

growing down a length of a log , toward the underside , moist from rainfall , not an overly wet area

I know ..i am so glad i have visually seen them with my own eye's now ...they are amazing , i have not found any in the rainforest habitat's ...so i am with your line of thinking too ,,they like moisture , and seem to pop after a rain
I like your comment 'not overly wet'. I've got this theory that they won't exist on a surface which has 'moving' water. Still can't get over the colour of these... almost artificial.
