Please provide photographs of orchids in the wild only. For the protection of the plants, do not post any specific locations and/or coordinates. Most important, "take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints."
South Florida is home to an abounding collection of both native and naturalized orchids. Many of these orchid species are threatened or endangered due to human encroachment and a long history of poaching. Lets raise awareness by providing a photographic documentation of these magnificent plants in order to help protect them for future generations to admire.
