Description:

A bright green planthopper that is less than a half-inch long. The green cone-headed planthopper is polyphagous, feeding on a wide variety of native and cultivated trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants, and grasses.

Habitat:

Spotted in my backyard. Attracted to light. Mixed woods nearby.
