Ever been to Belize? Belize has a rich biodiversity and is referred to as the jewel of the Caribbean. Its Geographical location lies in Central America and the Caribbean Sea, being part of the Tri-National Selva Maya, the largest chunk of intact forests - the little Amazon of Central America. From the first Jaguar Preserve, to the Second largest barrier Reef in the world, Belize is unique in conservation and thriving with Jaguar and whale shark population - aiming to balance our natural resources and the Belizean society.

Though a small country, a part of the connectivity between North and South America, Belize has a diverse ecosystem of a tropical/subtropical nature. The terrestrial and aquatic flora and fauna are of Belizean pride, quite enjoyable by everyone who loves to travel and go wildlife spotting! You Better Belize it!

The Belize Wildlife Mission encompasses any wildlife spotting for the entire country of Belize - plants, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and mammals! Spotted any Belizean terrestrial or Aquatic organism? Feel free to document here your Belizean adventure by sharing your wildlife spotting. In conservation efforts, let every one Belize it, that we are on the map!
